MAT

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates exercises were the first form of the exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. Mat work is the foundation of his entire method - including the core principles of Pilates (breath, control, precision, centre, concentration and flow). Our mat work may incorporate small props like mini balls, resistance bands, foam rollers, magic circles, blocks and weights. Mat Pilates are small groups of 8 designed for a range of experience levels and provide supportive way to build your strength, coordination and confidence while remaining connected to the integrity and history of the method.

REFORMER

Reformer Foundation

A small class of up to 6 people allows plenty of attention by the teacher for each participant to focus on the foundation, quality and deeper understanding of the work through the core movements and breathing to build strength and flexibility. This class is suitable for everyone to learn comprehensive workout yet challenging.

REFORMER

Reformer Intermediate

A reformer class for those with experience on the Reformer who have the confidence to self-correct body position and breathing as they work on a wider range of exercises. Reformer Intermediate class is for participants who feel confident with the basics and are ready to develop their practice. In this class you will move between a moderate and an advanced pace, quicker transitions and more challenging exercise. We build upon the foundational principles, delving deeper into the world of Pilates.

REFORMER

Reformer Intermediate/Advanced

Reformer Intermediate/Advanced is a significant step up from Intermediate class. You can expect high intensity sequences that progressively challenge your coordination, balance and strength to deliver a complete body workout, that will test your endurance. This class requires a thorough understanding of correct technique, breathing and movement patterns on the Reformer. Please discuss with one of our teachers before joining the class. This class is not suitable for rehabilitation after injury.

TOWER

Tower

Tower classes combine elements of mat work with the resistance of the springs and bars to add challenge, facilitate and assist movement. Tower workouts require a greater level of control and provide a deeper flexibility and strength than mat work alone to strengthen and tone the body to create powerful, resilient muscles.
