We offer a warm, welcoming space for small groups and personal sessions fully equipped with full range of Pilates apparatus including Reformers, Towers, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel and Spine Correctors. Work with our experienced teachers who value breath, control, precision and quality movement. 


“Inflow” is defined from the concepts of alignment and connection. Alignment is about staying connected. We align and connect ourselves to the nature, to our environment, to our family, to our neighbours, to our colleagues, to things we do every day. When we work with our mind and body, we find that connection into a deeper level through breath, awareness, concentration and control. Once you find your connections they are powerful and dynamic –your mind, your breath, your muscles, your movements, your awareness, your senses flow together as you adjust, realign, grow for the best possible outcome you can have on every movement with purpose.

Let us assist you to reconnect your body awareness, to regain your strength, to enhance your balance, to tone your muscles, to increase your flexibility and mobility, to reduce possibility of injury through accidents, and to live a healthy life through our refined and detail focused instruction. 


Located in the heart of Bangor on Hamilton Road on the ground floor opposite the Bangor Perish Church, only 5 min walk from Bangor train station.

  • Nion Ellis

    Founder and Senior Comprehensive Pilates Teacher

    BASI Pilates


    Nion has been practicing Pilates since 2009 and teaching since 2013. Certified in BASI Pilates Method, Nion has trained in the USA, UK and Japan.

     

    Nion started practicing Pilates on a friends recommendation hoping it would help with her stress, weight gain and lower back pain from long hours of office work. Immediately she was fascinated by the method and the benefits gained from practicing Pilates. Because of her passion to share those benefits with other people for a happier and healthier lifestyle she decided to become a Pilates teacher.

     

    Through her Pilates journey and with over 13 years of teaching experience, Nion has extensive experience working with clients of all ages and abilities. As a cancer survivor in her 50s she appreciates how important a healthy life is to bring you happiness.

    Nion is continuously deepening her knowledge in order to help her clients in their Pilates journey, whether they are looking to learn Pilates to simply feel better or to address issues such as chronic pain, neck, shoulder, low back pain, hip/knee replacement, injury recovery, pre/post natal, scoliosis, improving physical conditions, sports conditioning. Nion enjoys seeing her clients’ improvement physically, mentally and in their overall confidence.

    Nion has moved to Northern Ireland with her husband a few years ago and are loving it! Outside of Pilates, Nion enjoys yoga, SUP, snowboarding and travel, particularly exploring Europe.

  • Tracey Daniels

    Senior Comprehensive Pilates Teacher

    With over 23 years of experience, Tracey brings a depth of knowledge, intuition, and passion to every Pilates session she teaches. Originally qualifying in South Africa, she trained in the fully comprehensive BASI Pilates method, known for its intelligent, structured approach and strong focus on alignment, precision, and flow.

     

    Tracey’s journey into Pilates wasn’t just professional—it was personal. After struggling with a persistent injury that led to frequent visits to physiotherapists and chiropractors, she was introduced to Pilates as a form of rehabilitation. Within just six to eight weeks, she was completely pain-free. That transformative experience sparked not only her recovery, but a lifelong commitment to helping others feel stronger, more balanced, and free from pain.

     

    Since then, Tracey has dedicated her career to guiding clients of all abilities through mindful movement, building strength from within, and restoring confidence in their bodies. Her teaching style is supportive, experienced, and deeply attuned to individual needs—whether you’re recovering from injury, improving posture, or simply looking to move and feel better.

     

    Outside the studio, Tracey has a love for travel and embraces every opportunity to explore new places and cultures. She also treasures time spent in South Africa with her family, staying connected to her roots and the place where her Pilates journey began.

     

    For Tracey, Pilates is more than exercise—it’s a way of life, and one she is passionate about sharing with every client she meets.

  • Jill Lowry

    Comprehensive Pilates Teacher

    Polestar Pilates


    Like many, Pilates found Jill! Following the birth of her 2 boys, her weaker core & hypermobile joints made it harder and harder to stay connected. Even after having been very active with yoga and rowing! Pilates helped Jill find a deeper connection to her body, better mobility & less pain. Since then she has continued to learn and explore about the body; it’s movement, mobility and the importance of the mind-body connection, which led to her embarking on Pilates Teaching in 2023.


    Jill is a Fully Comprehensive Pilates teacher, across all apparatus (Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Barrel, and Mat). She studied with Polestar Pilates UK, whose approach integrates the principles of Pilates with movement science and physical therapy. Their teaching focuses on restoring the body's natural, fluid mobility.


    In July 2025 Jill started Curative Pilates so she could work with clients on their specific movement needs and feel the ‘curative power’ of movement and explore more opportunities based on the deep healing benefits of movement.

    Jill says, “I am interested in how the Pilates method restores the body's natural, fluid mobility for functional movement. Joseph Pilates said ,‘How you do Pilates, is how you do life!’ – meaning that small, consistence patterns create change. And it really is true!”

    Outside of Pilates Jill is kept busy by her family and a dog and two new kittens. She enjoys cold-water swimming at Helen’s Bay beach, reading, meditation with a local group, and travelling. Also dancing – when she gets the chance!


  • Anita Wu

    Mat & Reformer Pilates Teacher

    BASI Pilates


    Anita's relationship with Pilates started early — she grew up watching her mother practices Pilates and yoga, and while she dipped in and out over the years, it became a genuine commitment in her 40s. Through her consistent practice across mat and reformer, she noticed real changes in her body, physically stronger, more controlled, more confident. That experience led her to train formally with BASI Pilates in Dublin, qualifying in both mat and reformer.


    She came to teaching to deepen her own practice but discovered a passion for helping others build strength, confidence and awareness in their movement. Her approach is focused on precision, intelligent movement and a strong emphasis on building strength and control from the foundation up. Her emphasis on core details that matter alignment, control, and getting the form right are central to every session which enables her clients to progress with confidence.


    Outside of Pilates, she loves yoga and often says, “Pilates keeps me toned, and yoga keeps me sane".
